My first wig. It is a nice color -- says red gold but I don't see that. It was a good match to my blonde/light brown streaky hair color. I watched a lot of youtube videos on this wig which talked a lot about "80s hair" and "voluminous" so I was disappointed with how little hair it actually has on it. I'm going to purchase some hair product for wigs to see if that will help. I normally style my hair a little big and 80s -- I loved the 80s and I love curls. This is more realistic for average life (if not necessarily 'me') so I'll keep it for my at-home Zoom meetings and running to the grocery store which is likely to go past summer '21. (Needless to say, my younger work friends on Zoom LOVE my new haircut--probably because it's more 'ordinary' LOL) In short, I'm happy enough for what it IS, but not so happy for what I thought it WOULD BE, if you know what I mean? Oh and I thought I had a big head but this cap feels quite loose. I've always had a very high forehead so that could be the issue. (If I pull it halfway down to my eyebrows it feels right LOL)
This wig is perfect love it right out of the box .Its will suit many skin tones.Just right.
I’ve never worn a wig, before, but due to COVID, I haven’t had my hair colored in over 5 months. Anyway, I decided to try a wig, as opposed to walking around with my roots grown out halfway down my head. For my first purchase, the color was wrong and the style was too top heavy for me. Of course, the return process was easy and chiquel was wonderful, so I decided to try, again, with the Jessica wig. I ordered it in two colors, just to be safe and one worked out perfectly (the other I returned). The wig looks like natural hair and the fit is very comfortable. I absolutely love it and have already worn it several times...basically any time I go out. A big plus is that even my husband said that if he didn’t know it was a wig, he would never be able to tell. I don’t know how long it will last, but I will definitely order another, whenever that time comes. If you’re on the fence about it, all I can say is that you, too, will love it!
This is my 2nd Jessica wig from Jon Renau and let me tell you she looked beautiful long and she looks beautiful even shorter! I've bought wigs from Raquel, Gabor, Noriko, Estetica, Envy, but out of all of them, this basic cap construction by Jon Renau is the most comfortable cap I've ever encountered. I hardly know I'm wearing it. That's a selling point right there! The fact, too, that you can part the hair left or right is another selling point for me! I'm 73 and I don't like fuddy-duddy, matronly styles and this style is an in-betweener but I can do a lot with Jessica. I hesitated in cutting her but I'm not sorry I did. She has so much hair and volume and body that I can do a whole lot with her and that's what I look for in a wig, lace front, mono part, standard, or otherwise. I've never owned a human wig. I chose my first Jessica in the color FS27. I love, love, love Jon Renau's Auburns. This one is a soft, light Auburn with touches of blond here and there. But this particular Jessica I chose the color FS26/31. I love this color, too. And she's has a more dynamic blond in her than my FS27. I don't see the chunks of blond in my FS27 but I do see it in this FS26/31. Needless to say, I love this color. I love the wig. I don't havegreat bio hair but I do have good skin and I don't wear a lot of makeup. I do like to play up my eyes but when I wear Jessica, I feel sophisticated, whimsical, sensual, and natural-looking. I'm going to save up my money to get another Jon Renau wig, perhaps Mila or one of his other beautiful stylish wigs. I'm telling you this man and his team know their stuff! Im going to get my Jessica to look the way Heather has it styled. I've attached some pics, please don't mind the unprofessionalism of them. I'm not a skilled selfie taker!! Thank Cysterchiquel for this affordable great wig and the assorted colors to choose from.
I love this wig and own several. When I can find her at these prices in a color I like---even better. They have quick shipping here and my wigs arrive looking beautiful!!
