I bought Free Time in color Sunlit Chestnut. Although I don’t like the color and I have about 20 other wigs, but it has become my go-to wig because of its flattering cut. It’s just gorgeous. Comb it, put it on, shake it and you’re good to go. This is a style where the longer it stays on your head the better it will look on you. I definitely wi Read more about review stating Beautiful, comfortable wigll buy this wig in other colours next time.
I want to change my rating for this wig from a 1 star to a 5 star review. I was initially disappointed with the matting at the back of the neck which I thought occurred rather quickly. However all wigs do this no matter what brand and I have worn just about all the brands available! seriously. Being that this one is heat friendly I just used my straightening comb to straighten it and got great results, which I continued to do as needed. It has been exactly one year since I purchased this wig which makes it I believe the longest lasting wig I have ever had. When I straighten it with a straightening comb to maximum heat tolerable, then wash it, set it with medium rollers, and place it under the hair dryer on medium heat, it looks great! Sorry Raquel.
This is my 2nd or third purchase of this wig - always in my favorite shade, Biscuit. It is quite full, very silky, and feels good on my back. I wear my Free Time when I feel like having longer hair.
Sent it back because it had an extremely large wig cap that couldnt be adjusted to fit me
I've been wearing wigs a very long time, so I know occasionally one will not thrill me at first. This one, though, I hated. I kept trying it on, changing the part, combing through, etc. Day after day I tried until I finally decided to do something a little drastic. The ends of the hair are razor cut and a bit shattered. The wig I received had multiple points that were sticking out and looked, to me, like I'd received a bad haircut. I trimmed all of the 'points' off. After combing through again, that small change made all the difference. Now, it looks much better. The fully handtied cap is very comfortable. The density is quite full. The heat friendly fiber has no shine, mine is even dull (RL14/22). The length is below the shoulder (I'm 5'5"). The hairline is beautiful with a completely undetectable lace front, which is why I love Raquel Welch wigs. The color I usually wear is RL14/25 Raquel Welch or 14/26 Jon Renau. These colors are almost identical with the RW color being a tiny bit more ginger and much better blended than the JR. This time, however, I chose RL14/22. It has a few "streaks" of a very light blonde and, to me, is not as dynamic as RL14/25. There's a nice light blonde around the face, I was just expecting more of it. All in all, now that I've tamed this one, I have to say it's great. Very natural, comfortable, and NO itchy lace front. My Jon Renau wigs lace front drives me insane after a while. Raquel Welch lace fronts are comfortable all day long. I love it now.
