Such a sweet little style. Amazing cute bob with layered bangs. So much fun! This is color Illumina R, a unique silversto e fashion shade with darker roots.
This is an absolutely lovely wig. It looks very realistic. The only reason that I did not keep it, was That the style did not suit me. I have a high forhead. The side swept bangs would have bothered me. It would take some product and training to keep them in place. I Would have had to have had the bangs trimmed in order to help kept it. I chose to keep another style that already had shorter bangs. If your original hair was this style, or if you have one of the style of **** before you were not being happy with this product.
This review is for the Amore Vada wig in color Smoky Grey-R. I LOVE this wig. On me, the length hits about halfway between the chin and collarbone. I have a longish, somewhat narrow face so this ought not to work, but the piece has enough volume and layering at the front that it is quite flattering. The quality of the fiber is top-notch - uber-fine and soft, soft, soft; with very natural movement. The fit is perfect - I have a small-average head and the ear tabs on some wigs can hit a little close to the tops of my ears, but I don't even notice these. And the color - Heather didn't give smoky grey-R much love in her review, but I am crazy about it. It is a medium dark pewter gray and plays well with my pinky fair skin. I do recommend a touch more makeup and jewel toned colors to show it off to best advantage.
I purchased this in dark chocolate which was a more dynamic color than I thought it would be--that's a plus. I like Vada, though I feel like the lace front and the mono top do not go together as far as density is concerned. The lace front is so dense that you cannot see the part and there is a stark change where the monotop starts because the part is two to three times wider than the lace front. The monotop is very natural looking--it is not sparse--it is just the lace front is like a rug. I think the only way to make this look natural would be to pluck the lace front (no, I'm not going to attempt that as that is not in my skill set) or to trim the bangs so they can fall forward--but then again, what is the point of the lace front? So, that is the reason for 4 stars--the density between the lace front and monotop are so different that it makes it look wiggy (I realize the dark color may be accentuating the issue). It's very comfortable and has decent coverage for me. It's my "weekend, don't feel like struggling with tangles in my longer style" wig.
