Another winner for the RW line! This unit sold out pretty fast, so I'm thinking most agree with me. About the wig: Lovely true to life fiber makes this look like the hair I wish I had been blessed with. No shine, no brassiness, just a lovely blonde shade with darker roots. Combine this with Raquel's legendary lace front, and it looks like you have the perfect head of hair! This wig can be worn right out of the box, and due to the full mono-filament top, your parting options are wide open! Not a wig to be worn daily in my opinion, as the heat friendly fibers are bit more high maintenance. The ends on this wig arrived a bit on the dry side, which was a very slight contrast from the smoother looking top part of the wig. I put a little Simply Stylin silicone serum on the ends, which made it look much better and will hopefully also help with tangling. The cons for High Octane? For me, only one. There is a silicone? band that runs across the mono-filament top, that leaves what appears to be a white square on your "scalp" when worn parted on the right side. (See picture). I generally put a bit of foundation on my parts for a more natural look, so I'm going to try a darker root cover up on that little white spot. Hopefully that will help?? Not a huge problem, but this is not an inexpensive wig. I'm a little bummed by that. All in all, if you like this wig, go for it! I don't think you'll be disappointed!
Finally the curl pattern I’ve been waiting for in the perfect length! I’m a snob when it comes to curls. My beef with most wigs high end wigs is they either start out flat and straight on top and then blossom into awesome curls or they have curls higher up but the manufacturer, in an attempt to make them more natural I suppose, places the curl more limp around the face (Jon Renau Sarah and Rachel) but that is not the case here High Octane has full elegant sexy curl!! I ordered mine in Shaded platinum which I was underwhelmed with at first but I am so glad I tried it because after a few wears and a little thinning around the face I am so thrilled with the total look! I will order this again in my favorite color next time Shaded Biscuit!
High Octane was horrible ! Too thin not enough curl ! Poor quality!I exchanged for Goddess and kept because I needed it but color was wrong and quality not as good as my past ones!!!
I get so many compliments on my hair. I don’t even mention it’s a wig. The people who do know , tell me it makes me look younger! It’s beautiful and has lighted my experience with hair loss.
not yet what I am looking for . Have found 1 I liked but still looking for another
